Inca din primul voiaj am intrat in contact cu cultura asiatica in principal cu cea filipineza acestia fiind preznti in numar foarte mare mai in toate companiile din lume datorita si salariilor mici practicate de acestia dar si a numarului mare si a posibilitatii relativ simpla de a calatorii.
Astfel am ajuns ca in decursul anilor sa apreciez si anumite preparate de origine insulara din filipine.
Va prezint mai jos o reteta numita Kare Kare, o reteta servita si apreciata in principal de cei mai instariti dintre filipinezi (aceasta din spusele celor cu care am lucrat eu)

Since my first voyage I got in contact with Asian culture, and mainly with the Filipino one, they would be present on most of the ships if not all in the cruises and offshore industry mainly for the low salary that they ask for but as well the great numbers and the relative easy way to get across the world.
This way as the years passed by I learned to appreciate a great many dishes from this culture.
Today i give you Kare Kare, a receipt that usually (as my coworker say) it is more common among the medium and high classes of the Philippines.

1/4 cana orez macinat si prajit Cup rice grounded and fried

2 cepe 1/8 Onion cut 1/8

2 capatani usturoi tocat Bulb garlic chopped

4 linguri ulei Spoon oil

4 bucati vinete taiate fasii de 1cm/Pcs eggpplant 1cm stripes

1 leg Pechay (Bok choy) taiat Bunch petchay leafs

1 leg fasole pastai sfoara taiate la 2 cm Bunch green beans string cur 2cm length

1 manunchi de banane taiate ca si vinetele Bunch banana cut same as the eggplant
- 1/2 cana ulei Cup oil
- 1/2 cana ulei Cup oil

8 cani apa Cup water

Se fierbe bine vita
pana ce aceasta incepe sa cada de pe oase
Intr-o cratita
separata se soteaza usturoiul si ceapa pana ce devin aramii, se adauga stocul
de la vita, orezul tostat, carnea si untul de arahide.
Se fierbe 15 minute si se condimenteaza dupa gust.

si se fierb pana sunt gata dar nu sunt prea moi.
